It is 100% Sangiovese with notes of ripe red berries, vanilla and a hint of spice. I am lucky to have had the 2007, 2010, & now the 2011 vintage. One of my favorites was Felsina Beradenga Chianti Classico 2011. I definitely had a few favorites which I thought needed to be adopted and taken home with me. Angiuli and Wine Warehouse have a combined 80 years in the wine business. The wines featured at the tasting were wonderful.

This tasting featured winemaker Nicola A. Such Fun!This makes it super easy for people to learn and ask questions. (They had me at Italian) Upon arriving I was surprised to discover that this wasn’t your typical wine tasting where the masses are rushing from numbered table to numbered table ( I very much enjoy those tastings as well!) However, Mission Wine and Spirits leads all their tastings in a seminar fashion. Going into it, all I knew was that they were featuring Italian wines.
